Do you want to know how to raise money for your projects, ideas, or research? In this webinar, Hikmat will share the art of strategic fundraising and will give you tips based on his broad professional experience at charities, and start-ups and his management studies at the Budapest Business School. He will guide you through the key stages of successful fundraising and will show you how to approach sponsors to get a substantial budget for a good cause or to realize a business idea. At the webinar, you will learn smart business development strategies and will understand the common challenges of fundraising as well.

About the presenter:

Hikmat Hasanov is an alumni volunteer of the Alumni Network Hungary from Azerbaijan, and a former Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holder, who graduated at the Budapest Business School. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, business development, and fundraising. With 7 years of experience on various projects, he currently works as the Senior Corporate Fundraiser at SOS Children’s Village Azerbaijan. Over the last 3 years, he has successfully raised over 1.3 million USD for a wide range of organizations from charities to start-ups. Beyond his work as a fundraiser, he is the Deputy Chair of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Alumni Unions (AHAU), an organization with over 600 members that aims to bring together Azerbaijanis who graduated from Hungarian universities through educational, cultural, and networking events.
