The main task of our embassy in Muscat is to represent Hungary and the Hungarian people and protect their interests in Oman. Our goal is to further strengthen political and economic cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman, while also extending collaboration to areas such as energy, healthcare, culture, tourism, science, education, and sports. Since its opening in 2019, the embassy has contributed to high-level visits in both countries and has participated in exhibitions to promote Hungary as a touristic destination, a country for conducting studies, and its scholarship opportunities. We are also working closely together with embassies of other European countries under the EU-umbrella. The consular section of the embassy provides services for Hungarian, Omani, and third-country nationals, including but not limited to authentication of copies and signatures, ID, passport, and visa services. All employees of our mission work to achieve this goal in their daily activities.
