Could Hungary be the next European Student Hub?

It’s has almost three years since I came to Hungary. So far, I have a reason to believe in Hungary becoming a top student Hub in Europe.

So far, there has been a substantial increase in the student coming to study in Hungary. Let’s dive in and have a closer look. According to Study in Hungary, the academic year 2018/19 saw a whooping 4100 scholarships get awarded to students from over 70 sending partners. According to the website, the academic year 2019/2020 will see more than 5000 students begin their studies under the Stipendium Hungaricum Program.

Being a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship awardee has been one of my successes so far. It is one of the stories I will live to tell. I have made friends from all over the world, I’ve Kenyan, South African, Spanish, Pakistani, Mexican, Jordanian, Hungarian and Canadian. What other chance would have made this happen? Study in Hungary further notes that there has also been a substantial increase in the number of Erasmus students reporting to Hungary for their studies. Tempus Public Foundation states that the number of incoming students more than the number of outgoing students.

This is not just limited to Erasmus students only. Other exchange opportunities also exist where individual universities have signed cooperation’s with other universities. This sees more and more exchange students visit Hungary for a given period of time.

Well, of course my opinion may be subject to few biased points of view. I however highly believe that Hungary is one of the upcoming students’ hub and a study destination for most students. The rich culture, improved infrastructure and resources a key thing to note.

My advice for any student looking for a best place to study. I would definitely prescribe Hungary.
