Biggest Japanese-language library is at KRE

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Japanese-Hungarian diplomatic relations, Hungary received 20.000 books in the framework of the Honno Kote Project from Kagoshima county.

In the framework of the project, Károli Gáspár University received a donation of 5.000 books on 5 December 2019. Thanks to this, the library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences becomes the biggest Japanese-language library in Hungary. For students of the Japanese language, it is going to be an essential help to have access to Japanese literature, to develop their language skills and to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture.
