Alumni Network Hungary is a platform operated by Tempus Public Foundation that supports current and formal international students to make the most out of their Hungarian studies and experience. Besides the main goal to build one of the biggest international alumni communities, this network is cooperating with all of the Hungarian universities and other partners as well. Connections are key either when you are looking for a job or you launch your own business. By joining this network, you will have access to a database of nearly 9 000 international alumni who graduated from all Hungarian universities at Bachelor’s, Master and PhD levels. First, the services include an exclusive webinar series where world-famous Hungarian scientists, artists, and professionals hold inspiring presentations and talk about their latest research and inventions. Since 2019 there have been 13 webinars such as the section with the chest grandmaster Judit Polgár, or a section about storytelling with the Oscar-winning director Kristóf Deák, or about the automatic vehicles with Zsolt Szalay PhD.
Secondly, we are also cooperating with the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy, and we provide monthly training as an exclusive alumni service for our registered members that will enhance your skills and abilities during your career.
MOBILIZE THE ALUMNI NETWORK HUNGARY AS AN INTERNATIONAL ALUMNI VOLUNTEER!
Since the beginning of launching this network, there have been great and enthusiastic volunteers, who help us mobilize this huge community and in 2021 we launched the International Alumni Volunteer Programme with 40 volunteers from 28 different countries. You can read their blog posts on their experiences and on how to arrange alumni meetings.
If you need some advice on how to use your Hungarian studies in the most efficient way, you can always turn to our international alumni volunteers, who are happy to help you with their experience. You can also watch videos with alumni who share their stories and impressions about the country, Hungarian culture, and uni life here.
