Summary of the webinar:

Last year a team of students and researchers from the Pázmány Péter Catholic University won a prestigious prize at the Cybathlon competition, which is a global contest, where teams develop assistive technologies for people with disabilities. The “EyeRider” team designed a mobile app that can assist people with eyesight impairment in everyday situations.  At the webinar associate professor, Kristóf Iván who was the coordinator of the project will present their award-winning development, and will also give you an insight into how competitions like Cybathlon, which is considered to be the Formula 1 of assistive technologies, can facilitate innovation and technological advancement. You will also learn about other projects of the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics at Pázmány University which intend to improve life quality by combining information technology, health sciences and engineering.
