The new academic year will start within a few days, but it worth looking back to the summer and its great graduation events at Semmelweis University, Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Eötvös Loránd University and University of Miskolc.
Semmelweis University
At Semmelweis University after taking their solemn oath, the medical students were given the degree of Doctor of Medicine in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. Altogether 595 students finished this year, among them 237 foreign students from 27 countries of the world.
On behalf of the students graduating in the German language programme, Dr. Robert Hedrich addressed the audience. On behalf of the students graduating in the English language programme, Dr. Faisal Anum és Dr. Slotfeld Binca Mirella Fiorentino and Dr. Saeter Frode held a speech. They recalled their university years, the difficult challenges and the joy as well.
Many graduates participated in the 8th Semmelweis Graduation Ball organised by Alumni Office of Semmelweis University.

Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary
At Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary celebrated the graduation of the first Stipendium Hungaricum students this year. Graduation ceremony on the 7th of July 2018 was a big milestone not only for our Stipendium Hungaricum graduates but for our university as well
The students are from from several different countries such as Russia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Brazil was a heart-warming experience. The first generation of our Stipendium Hungaricum students graduated in English Studies and European and International Business Law LL.M.
The University is very proud of these students, and wish them all a very successful career and future ahead!

Eötvös Loránd University
Through July the celebration was loud at Eötvös Loránd University. All the faculties organized graduation ceremonies for their students to receive their degrees. All graduation ceremonies had similarities and peculiarities which shows that our international students are not just part of the ELTE community but they are unique in many positive senses. Graduation is a big step for every student and that includes their families and friends who not just celebrate their achievements but support them all the way. The ELTE is grateful that they could great them as well at the ELTE graduation ceremonies.

University of Miskolc
The journey of the Hungarian experience has ended for 40 international students who graduated this year from the University of Miskolc. The graduates received their diplomas during an official ceremony organized by the university. As a confirmation of their great experience, the students presented a short video to reflect all the unforgettable moments that they lived as students in Miskolc.
