In this webinar, Fanni Barkóczi, the Programme Coordinator of SHMN, will introduce the goals, structure, and benefits of the mentor network. Attendees will discover how mentors help new students overcome cultural differences, adapt to university life, and explore Hungary through exciting trips and programmes.
The SHMN offers mentees the chance to:

•    Build friendships with other students from around the world.
•    Participate in free cultural and educational programmes, including visits to Hungary’s famous cities, baths, wineries, and historical landmarks.
•    Take part in practical experiences such as company and factory visits that enhance academic growth.
•    Join trainings on intercultural communication, time management, and learning strategies.
 

Through these opportunities, the Mentor Network aims to create a welcoming environment where international students feel supported, connected, and inspired throughout their Hungarian journey.
