Most of the time dreams stay dreams for villagers. Well, like other student studying in a village school, I also had the dream, but I didn’t think it would come true. My name is Rashid. I’m from India and I grew up in a small village called Nagrota. It’s located northern part of my country. I never thought I would at one time live and study abroad.
Fast forward to years later when am almost completing my master’s degree in civil engineering, in the University of Pecs, Hungary. All this would not have been possible were it not for the Tempus Public Foundation that gives scholarship opportunities to not only students from my country but also students from all over the world.
Over here, I met new friends and a whole new culture. I must admit, Hungary, and Pecs is such a good place to study because of the serene studying environment. They have the state of art resources to ensure learning goes on well smoothly. I think I can acknowledge that this town is indeed the ‘learning’ city.
With the skills I’ve learned in school, I can’t wait to join my dream company and showcase my skills. Am ready to also use the ideas of the job market out there in finding my future job.
In conclusion, I have words but sincere gratitude to Tempus Public Foundation for making my dream come true. I wouldn’t have made it without there consistent support. I hope they stay strong to open such chances to more and more students in the future.
