In July the presenter of the Alumni Hungary Webinar Series was the internationally acclaimed ethologist, Ádám Miklósi, the head of the Ethology Department and the director of the Institute of Biology at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). In his webinar, Professor Miklósi showed how ethology, the scientific study of animal behavior, can help the development of social robots.
An international student team of the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) won a special award for their project entitled “WIMCY – Welcome into My Church Yard” at the prestigious Urban Design Award international contest.
