Calls for Proposal - Your Stories and Faces of Stipendium Hungaricum

Share Your Stories and be the Face of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme!

This year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme. In the past 10 years, thousands of young people arrived in Hungary from all around the world to study, make friends and develop. Hundreds of exciting adventures, mind-blowing research, challenges that students have overcome and new things they have learnt not just about their study field but also about themselves.

Are you one of them? Would you like to tell us your own story?

We are inviting you to celebrate with us by applying two kinds of proposals. If you want to share with us your favourite memories about studying in Hungary with the Stipendium Hungaricum programme, you can participate in the „Your Stories” proposal. By uploading your favourite photos, videos and/or short stories you can win a Stipendium Hungaricum gift pack.

Want to do more? Apply to the „Faces of Stipendium Hungaricum” proposal, become one of the programme's representatives this year and be an active part of the 10th anniversary communication campaign including online and offline events. All you have to do is upload your favourite memories of studying in Hungary (story, photo or video), your CV and a cover letter. By doing so, you will participate in the selection process of the „Faces of Stipendium Hungaricum” proposal.

Who can apply for the calls?

The calls for the 10th anniversary of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme are open to all Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders studying currently in Hungary except for first-year students, and to all alumni Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders who already finished their studies.

Participants must be over 18 years old and at least a second-year student.

Applicants must be registered users of the Alumni Network Hungary.

Your Stories proposal

Tell us your most memorable experiences from your time studying in Hungary. What were your biggest challenges and achievements during your time there, who were the most influential professors you met, what places did you explore, and how many close friends did you make? You can share your story in one of three formats: a short written description, photos, or videos.

How to apply

Fill in the application form and upload your short story, videos or photos. The application form is available on the Alumni Network Hungary website.

Application requirements

To participate in this call, you must upload content in at least one type of the following content materials.
