As the last part of our alumni interviews you can read the story of Basak Dilara Özdemir-Lakatos, who is a former student of Liszt Academy and a brilliant pianist and composer. She also works at the Hungarian State Opera, where she accompanies the ballet dancers on the piano. Environment protection and sustainable development are the focus of the research of Prof. Dr Nguyen Huu Ninh from Vietnam, who has won the Nobel Peace Prize as a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in 2007 and became an honorary doctor of the University of Pécs in 2009. Upon the invitation of Rector Prof. Dr Attila Miseta, he visited Pécs with a delegation of seven distinguished members on 24 October in the Rector’s Cabinet.
