The Hungarian Consulate General in Istanbul is Hungary's official representation accredited in Türkiye. We are in charge of contributing to the development of Hungary's relations with our host country, Türkiye. We work in collaboration with the Hungarian Embassy in Ankara.
Under the supervision of our Consul General, the Consulate General is the Istanbul hub of Hungarian representations in Türkiye. We are the competent Hungarian authority in a series of consular services to Turkish and Hungarian citizens living in Istanbul and our consular district. We work hand in hand with the Hungarian Cultural Institute -Liszt Intézet in Istanbul, moreover we are located in the same building. We wish to be able to contribute to a productive and fruitful cooperation between our countries and building bridges between our people, bound by history, culture and origins.
