Between 25 and 31 October, the delegation of Study in Hungary will visit Vietnam to take part in an extensive event series in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to further develop the long-existing international connection between Vietnam and Hungary. In both cities, there will be alumni meetings for Vietnamese alumni who used to study or currently studying in Hungary. The meetings will provide networking opportunities for participants to get to know each other and to share their experiences of studying in Hungary.

Alumni meeting in Hanoi
Date and Time: October 25, 2022, 1:30 pm. – 3:00 pm. (ICT – Indochina Time).
Venue: Vietnam National University, 19. Le Thanh Tong, Phan Chu Trinh, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi
Organizers: The Embassy of Hungary in Hanoi and Tempus Public Foundation

The event will be opened by Mr. Tibor Baloghdi, Ambassador, Embassy of Hungary Hanoi, and by Dr. Marcel Pop, member of the Board of Trustees of Tempus Public Foundation, and the Director of the Directorate of International Relations at Semmelweis University.
At the meeting, there will be talks by Vietnamese alumni who used to study in Hungary about their Hungarian study experience, a reception, a concert by an alumnus, and a presentation about the benefits of the Alumni Network Hungary.
Alumni meeting in Ho Chi Minh City
Date and Time: October 30, 2022, 4:00 pm. – 8:00 pm. (ICT – Indochina Time).
Venue: Office of Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, 31 Le Duan St., Dist. 1, Ho Chi Minh City

At this event, you can learn the stories of fellow Vietnamese alumni who used to study in Hungary, and you will also receive more information about the Alumni Network Hungary. There will be a reception and karaoke to have fun, and participating alumni can bring their own photos of their memories in Hungary, which will be displayed on a “Memories from Hungary” wall.
