In the heart of Moscow, a unique career forum unfolded — one that didn’t just showcase job opportunities, but celebrated cultural connection, shared experience, and future ambition.
For the second time since 2023, the Embassy of Hungary and the Liszt Institute brought together nine leading Hungarian companies and over 70 young professionals, many of whom had studied in Hungary through the Stipendium Hungaricum program. The event wasn’t just a fair — it was a reunion, a networking hub, and a celebration of Hungarian–Russian ties.

A Forum Full of Life
The Liszt Institute transformed into a vibrant marketplace of ideas and opportunities. OTP Bank, the event’s main sponsor, went all out — with branded stands, interactive games like ping-pong and air hockey, and a warm welcome that set the tone for the evening.
Each company brought more than brochures. They brought stories. From pharmaceuticals to agribusiness, leaders shared how Hungarian expertise and cultural understanding are assets in today’s global job market. Attendees didn’t just listen — they engaged, asked questions, and imagined futures that spanned borders.
Voices That Inspire
Ambassador Norbert Konkoly opened the forum with a powerful message: the young professionals present weren’t just job seekers — they were cultural ambassadors. Their time in Hungary had equipped them with more than diplomas; it gave them a unique lens through which to navigate international careers.
Company representatives followed with short, impactful talks that brought their brands to life. Each speaker offered a glimpse into their company’s mission, values, and career pathways, while highlighting how Hungarian language and cultural knowledge can be a strategic asset in today’s job market.
The lineup included:
- Ilja Chizhevsky (OTP Bank Russia)
- Attila Váradi (Richter Gedeon RUS)
- Mikhail Kholodkov (MOL-Russ)
- Rizvan Dzhanarslanov (Bábolna Tetra Russia)
- Natalia Maltseva (Egis RUS)
- Anton Ribakov (Sanatmetal Russia)
- Ulyana Nekrasova (Agrofeed RUS)
- Nikolai Zakharchenko (Woodstock)
- Alexey Romanchuk (Mogyi)
Each speaker painted a picture of what it means to work with Hungarian companies — the values they uphold, the innovation they drive, and the kind of talent they seek.
Academic Pathways
Adding depth to the evening, Zalán Alkonyi from the Association of Hungarian PhD Students (DOSZ) delivered a Russian-language presentation on doctoral studies in Hungary. From scholarships to practical advice, his session drew 30 eager participants looking to take their academic journey further.
A Taste of Hungary
The forum closed with a reception that was anything but ordinary. Hungarian wines flowed, traditional dishes were served, and conversations sparked across tables. It was a moment of connection — not just between companies and candidates, but between cultures.
Why It Mattered
This wasn’t just a career event. It was a statement: that Hungarian–Russian cooperation is alive, evolving, and full of promise. The presence of attendees from cities like Tula, Saint Petersburg, Stavropol, and Novosibirsk underscored the national reach and growing interest in Hungarian business.
As one participant put it: “It felt like coming home — but with new doors opening.”
