The Foreign Minister of Eritrea has visited Hungary the first time.
Dr Miklós Kásler the Minister of Human Capacities in Hungary and Osman Saleh Mohammed the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Eritrea had a formal meeting in January to discuss areas of healthcare and education, and to speak about further cooperation opportunities.
The focus of the partnership regarding medicine will be the curing of tuberculated diseases and to support the establishment of a related central facility in Eritrea.
Eritrea has recently joined the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme, so hopefully it will be also a constantly growing area with more and more students involved in this programme.
