Alumni Network Hungary has grown rapidly in recent years and now it is not only available to international students and alumni, but also to Hungarian universities, foreign representations, and companies. With the expansion of the network, you can build more connections and find various professional opportunities.
The number of members of the Alumni Network Hungary is constantly growing and additional services have been introduced. The network has been opened to new audiences and brand-new membership opportunities have been created. As a result of it on the top of the 11,000 international alumni members, 50 institutional coordinators, 35 foreign representations, and 15 company representatives have also joined the network.
If you are an international student who used to study or currently studying in Hungary, you can join the network as an alumni member. With your alumni membership you access our monthly webinars by distinctive Hungarian researchers and innovators or learn about our International Alumni Volunteer Programme. Stay up-to-date even if you left Hungary and read articles about the latest news! As an alumni member, you have the opportunity to get in touch with your institutional coordinators and local embassies. If you are or were a Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship holder you can also apply for internship opportunities to get professional experience and participate in the trainings of the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy to improve your negotiation and time management skills.

Connecting consulates or embassies
Did you know that Hungarian consulates or embassies are also part of the network? Through the Alumni Network Hungary, embassies and consulates have the opportunity to send their invites to local alumni events that you can join. This way you meet and network with fellow alumni from your country who just like you studied in Hungary. Embassies help you in many ways, so it is worth keeping in touch with them also after you finish your studies in Hungary. If you are currently a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holder, you have the chance to apply for internship opportunities within the network. All you have to do is to check out the list of available internship opportunities and find the most suitable for you! After application, company representatives can contact you if you are suitable for the position. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience, develop new skills and write a new, exciting position in your CV! Don’t forget to check this list regularly!
