Dalia Ibrahem, Jordan, University of Pécs
One of the best decisions I made when I did my studies is being a part of Alumni Network Hungary. Many people believe that it's something to join once you've graduated, but I found it to be something really worth doing even as a student. For me, it was not just about opportunities in the future, but about connection, learning, and getting inspired by hearing other people's stories of how they started from where I'm now.
As a current student, it gives me hope and motivation to know there is this community, and I am part of this global family that is connected through Hungary. Their stories remind me that the time we have here does make a difference and that we are not separate from our Hungarian roots once we get our diplomas.

Joining Alumni Network Hungary while still studying has provided me with opportunities to learn outside of the university walls. It is a network that organizes events, publishes articles, and makes connections in different fields and countries. I've learned about cultural diplomacy and educational initiatives and careers that I think are a perfect fit for what I study.
It's as if you are expanding your classroom to include the world and all the people who have gone through the same experience and are now teaching you the lessons they've learned. So, while I am still in the middle of my Master's, I know that I will continue to be part of the Alumni Network Hungary even after graduation.

If you are an international student in Hungary - join this alumni network! Don't wait till after graduation. Become a part of it while you are still living it.
It's more than just a network, it's a home to all those who have ever considered Hungary their own, for a period of time, no matter how short.
You'll be able to find people that understand you, opportunities that inspire you and stories that remind you why you came here in the first place.
