Dr. Elika Valehi, Iran, University of Szeged
Leaving Iran to study Pharmacy at the University of Szeged meant stepping far outside my comfort zone. However, Hungary quickly became my second home. The kindness of people, the beauty of Szeged, and the strong academic environment made my years here unforgettable.
Now, as a PhD student continuing my journey, I truly value being part of the Alumni Network Hungary. It connects me with graduates from all over the world who share the same love and gratitude for this amazing country.
Being part of ANH means for me keeping my Hungarian story alive, keeping me close to Hungary; even as life moves forward.
Through the platform, alumni can share their study experiences, advice, and success stories, helping new students who are just beginning their journeys. I often read these posts and updates with great interest: they remind me of my own early days in Szeged and how much I’ve grown since then.
These stories make me realize that we are all part of something much bigger: a supportive, global family shaped by the experience of studying in Hungary, where every success feels like a shared victory.
Hungary gave me knowledge, friendships, and a second home and through the Alumni Network, that connection continues to grow every day.
