Stand out of the crowd – winning startup ideas from medical students

At the latest event of Semmelweis University’s Science and Business Salon, four winning teams from the Hungarian Startup University (HSUP) talent management programme presented their most innovative ideas from Semmelweis, who will develop these concepts further with the help of their mentors. The winning projects include a smart medicine dispenser, an educational card game, an educational platform for university students and a dance training video for wheelchair users.

Meet our alumni volunteers: Dr. Lillian Achola Oluoch

In this chapter of our volunteer series, you can read Dr. Lillian Achola Oluoch’s story from Kenya! She studied in Hungary and did her doctoral degree between 2016-2021 at the University of Szeged and now she is a Lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Computational Mathematics, at The Technical University of Kenya, Nairobi, Kenya.

Course with world renowned presenters at the University of Szeged

The lectures and instructions were attended by doctors and lecturers as well as by national and international participants. What will the James Webb Space Telescope see? - an interview with astronomer Örs Hunor Detre

Can less work be more productive? – An interview with researcher Miklós Antal
