The most promising student startup projects were introduced in the third year of the Hungarian Startup University Program (HSUP) at Széchenyi István University. The nationwide initiative introduces hundreds of students in Győr to the world of innovative entrepreneurship and provides the best ones with the professional support they need to turn their ideas into real businesses.
On 20 June we celebrated the graduation of the Stipendium Hungaricum and the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme holders at a prestigious farewell event at the Hotel Danubia in Budapest. More than 100 guests attended the ceremony including our alumni volunteers who greeted new graduates and introduced the benefits of the Alumni Network Hungary.
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket has launched the Transporter 8 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California (USA) with BME’s MRC-100 satellite on board. A live recording of the launch can be viewed on the SpaceX website and video sharing sites.

We have a great and enthusiastic international alumni volunteer team of 22 people from 18 countries. Most of them decided to create an alumni chapter in their home country or make international professional alumni groups and some of them did great social media work. Our alumni communities and networks are growing day by day and have reached around 10.000 members. Some of them decided to organize chapters (small groups) to keep in contact or build professional collaboration with each other. In 2022 our alumni volunteers launched 6 different new alumni groups (4 local and 2 professional) giving a chance to the members to join.
