Our alumni communities: AHAU - Azerbaijan Hungary Alumni Union

Our alumni communities and networks are growing day by day and have reached around 10.000 members. Some of them decided to organize chapters (small groups) to keep in contact or build professional collaboration with each other. In 2022 our alumni volunteers launched 6 different new alumni groups (4 local and 2 professional) giving a chance to the members to join. In our new column, Hikmat Hasanov introduces the Azerbaijan Hungary Alumni Union (AHAU) in Baku.

The challenges of marine sustainability - Webinar by biologist Ferenc Jordán

Sustainable management of marine ecosystems plays a fundamental role in the fight against the global environmental crisis. Challenges such as overfishing and the decrease of biodiversity in the oceans cause series risks to our environment and humanity. Understanding the interconnectedness of these highly fragile ecosystems is the first step towards change both on global and individual levels. In the next Alumni Hungary Webinar network biologist, Professor Ferenc Jordán will explore the responses of science to the challenges of marine sustainability.

Meet our alumni volunteers: Craig V. Johnson

We have a great and enthusiastic international alumni volunteer team of 22 people from 18 countries. Most of them decided to create an alumni chapter in their home country or make international professional alumni groups and some of them did great social media work. In the next chapter of our volunteer series, you can read Craig Johnson’s story from South Africa! He studied international relations at Budapest Business School between 2017-2020 and now he is the Head of Incubation at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
