The concept of the Book of Your Life aiming to support the integration of international students arriving at ELTE has been selected as one of the best by the jury of the European Cultural Foundation (ECF) The Amsterdam-based foundation and its partners are supporting the project of the ELTE University Library and Archives.

This year the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme celebrates its 10th anniversary with a series of events. As part of the celebration, the Welcome event of the new scholarship holders, followed by the International Conference of the Stipendium Hungaricum Partners took place between 20 and 22 November, where more of our alumni members participated in workshops and round table discussions.
Between 24 and 31 October, the Study in Hungary team, and the representatives of five Hungarian universities visited Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires to promote Hungarian study- and scholarship opportunities through higher-educational forums, study fairs and alumni meetings. It was a great mission with many memorable moments.

On 20 October, the International Centre of the Rector's Cabinet, University of Pécs organized a special event: the Pécs Diplomats' Forum combined with the 10th-anniversary celebration of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program.
Between 24 and 31 October, the delegation of Study in Hungary will visit Brazil and Argentina to take part in more events in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, and Buenos Aires to promote Hungarian higher education, and scholarship programs and to provide platforms for academic and professional networking. In the organization of the Consulate General of Hungary in Sao Paulo, the Embassy of Hungary in Buenos Aires, and Tempus Public Foundation there will be two alumni meetings in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires where participants can network, get to know each other and share their Hungarian study experience.
Our alumni community and network are growing day by day and have reached 10K members. Some of them decided to organize small groups (chapters) to keep in contact or build professional collaboration with each other. In 2022 our alumni volunteers launched 6 different new alumni groups (4 local and 2 professional) giving a chance for the members to join. In our new column, we collected the newly developing chapters, launched by our volunteer, and feel free to join them!
On 20 June we celebrated the graduation of the Stipendium Hungaricum and the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme holders at a prestigious farewell event at the Hotel Danubia in Budapest. More than 100 guests attended the ceremony including our alumni volunteers who greeted new graduates and introduced the benefits of the Alumni Network Hungary.
