Meet our alumni volunteers: Zaher Akkad

The time has come to introduce our international alumni volunteer team with 34 people from 17 countries speaking 23 different languages. In the next chapter of our volunteer series, you can read about Zaher Akkad story from Syria! He did his MSc in Hungary between 2017-2019, and now he is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Logistics at the University of Miskolc.

Meet our senior alumni – an interview with pianist Basak Dilara Özdemir-Lakatos

As the last part of our alumni interviews you can read the story of Basak Dilara Özdemir-Lakatos, who is a former student of Liszt Academy and a brilliant pianist and composer. She also works at the Hungarian State Opera, where she accompanies the ballet dancers on the piano. First meet Dr. Luis Fernando Murillo, a genuine world citizen, who lived, studied and taught in numerous countries all around the world. He found his home in Hungary as a professor and also as a Stipendium Hungaricum student at ELTE. The interview was made by our international alumni volunteer Zahar Akkad.

SZTE Enters Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese University

The University of Szeged and Hebei Agricultural University of China has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the development of agriculture education and research on the 7th June. The establishment of a modern agricultural research centre, student and faculty exchange programs and joint study programs are among the aims of the agreement.
