As the last part of our alumni interviews you can read the story of Basak Dilara Özdemir-Lakatos, who is a former student of Liszt Academy and a brilliant pianist and composer. She also works at the Hungarian State Opera, where she accompanies the ballet dancers on the piano. In this interview formerly made by the Tempus Public Foundation’s International Alumni Team she talked about the beginnings, the challenges and why she loves Hungary so much.

The University of Szeged and Hebei Agricultural University of China has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the development of agriculture education and research on the 7th June. The establishment of a modern agricultural research centre, student and faculty exchange programs and joint study programs are among the aims of the agreement.

As a volunteer, I was invited to attend volunteer training in Budapest. I have not been in volunteer training before, therefore I put many prospectives about my day there. My hopes did not go down, it was an amazing day for me with distinguished people.  

It’s only spring now, but it’s time to plan your summer already! The summer at Hungarian universities will be full of life: join one of the universities’ Hungarian language summer schools and have a great summer in Hungary!
