Vietnamese students who graduated from the University of Debrecen back in the 1970s have returned to their alma mater to meet their one-time professors and fellow students. The event was organised within the framework of a conference designed to strengthen Hungarian-Vietnamese relations.

Miranda Liu is a real prodigy. The young violinist started her Hungarian studies in 2013 at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in the frame of an Erasmus Scholarship. She also earned her BA and MA degree here. She became the youngest person in the history of the prestigious institution to be admitted into their Doctoral School.
The International Alumni Hungary Network Initiative of Tempus Public Foundation provided an opportunity for fresh graduates and senior students to meet and learn useful skills on 16th of June, 2018. Two of our volunteers Assylaiym from Kazakhstan and Chandara from Cambodia, wrote a short summary about what happened at the training.
Graduation is always a milestone event in the life of a university student. Especially when he or she spent years in a foreign country pursuing the dream to become a researcher or to have a great career. Therefore, it is definitely something that is worth to celebrate. But how about an opportunity where these students cannot only celebrate with their university fellows, but with students from other Hungarian universities? This is one of the key elements and aims of the Stipendium Hungaricum Farewell party organized by the Tempus Public Foundation.
