When you have time, think back on your entire study abroad experience. The people you met, the places you traveled, the things you did… don’t be afraid to reminisce. Appreciate the fact that you did something very few students get to do, and treasure that experience and the new qualities you possess because of it.

Miranda Liu Hungary’s youngest concertmaster

Miranda Liu is a real prodigy. The young violinist started her Hungarian studies in 2013 at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in the frame of an Erasmus Scholarship. She also earned her BA and MA degree here. She became the youngest person in the history of the prestigious institution to be admitted into their Doctoral School.

As a young boy born in an odd environment, I grew up with many unpleasant circumstances and was resolved to break the odds. Though my parents had not had any formal education and nobody in my family had no university education, I aspired to break the trend by making a difference academically.
